Use WineBottler to run Notepad++ on OS X, without installing Windows.
Just got a tweet from @codylloydwright, why WineBottler is missing an automated install of Notepad++. How very right he is, I'm using Notepad++ a lot on Windows, so why not on OS X?

Installing Notepad++ on a Mac
- Download WineBottler 1.6.x from http://winebottler.kronenberg.org
- Copy WineBottler and Wine.app to your Mac.
- Start WineBottler.
- Search for 'notepad' in the 'Download' Section, click 'Notepad++'
- Give the App a name.
- Wait 🙂 .
- Done. Run Notepad++ from 'On My Mac' or from wherever you have installed the App to.
- If Notepad++ finds some updates, just let it install them - select 'Restart Notepad++' after the updates are installed. Wait for Notepad++ to apply the updates and relaunch itself.

Notepad Plus Plus Macro
Following the instructions here I was able to get Notepad working on my Mac running Catalina 10.15. /super-double-up-keno-download-game.html. However, the only version of Notepad I have been able to get to work was the one listed in these threads - version 7.0 x64 :
All other newer versions throw errors and I am hoping some here can help me get a newer version working.

I have tried several versions, all seem to throw the same set of errors.
Some of the newer versions I tried that weren’t working did have the 'scilexer.dll` file in the install. I read elsewhere that this file was causing similar errors with locally compiled versions of Notepad - but those seemed to be on windows machines.
Any ideas?
